The wet top feed Vibro Stone Column process is a Vibroreplacement system, again the flot penetration is due to mass and vibration but in this process a water flush is used instead of an air flush. The water removes some silts and organic material but also keeps the hole open, successive charges of stone are introduced as with the dry top feed method and compacted in stages.
